Is parking available?
Yes. Free parking is available near Mariner Square Marina. Please allow extra time for parking, check-in, and boarding.

When should I arrive?
Check-in begins at 4:45 PM and boarding begins at 5:00 PM. The yacht departs promptly at 5:30 PM and cannot wait for late arrivals. If you miss departure, you will not be able to join the event.
​
When do we return?
The yacht will return to dock at approximately 9:30 PM.

Experience
What is the event like?
This is a 4-hour sunset yacht experience with music, dancing, curated food, and interactive entertainment throughout the boat. Expect an elevated but welcoming atmosphere with room to move, connect, and enjoy the Bay at sunset.

What kind of music should I expect?
Expect a dance-forward mix of global grooves, electronic energy, funky house influences, and high-energy sets that move with the sunset and carry into the evening. Check out the artist profiles for more about our amazing artists!

Is the event indoors or outdoors?
Both. The yacht includes open-air decks and indoor space, so guests can move between environments depending on weather and personal preference.

Are there restrooms onboard?
Yes. Restrooms are available onboard the yacht.
​
Is there seating?
Seating is limited and not guaranteed. The event is designed as a standing, roaming, and dancing experience, with guests encouraged to move throughout the yacht and enjoy different areas of the boat.

What should I wear?
No formal dress code. Come as dressed up or as relaxed as you’d like.
Dress for a sunset-to-night environment on the water. Layers are recommended, as it can get cooler after sunset. Please wear shoes that are comfortable and appropriate for moving around on a boat.

Should I expect rough water?
The cruise will remain within the San Francisco Bay and is typically smooth, but conditions can vary. If you are prone to motion sickness, please plan accordingly.

What is included with my ticket?
Your ticket includes the 4-hour sunset cruise aboard the Merlot, music, dancing, tarot readings, a photo station, interactive entertainment, and a curated selection of complimentary food. Beverages will be available for purchase at the onboard bar.

Are tickets refundable?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
Can I transfer my ticket?
Tickets may be transferred with organizer approval. Please contact us through Eventbrite to request a transfer. Transfers must be completed before the day of the event.

Food & Drink
Will food be available?
Yes. A curated selection of complimentary food will be provided onboard and is included with your ticket. Vegetarian options will be available, but we cannot guarantee accommodations for all dietary restrictions or allergies.

Will drinks be available?
Yes. A full onboard bar will be available, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Can I bring my own food or alcohol?
No. Outside food and alcohol are not permitted onboard.

Onboard Rules & Policies
What is the bag policy?
Due to maritime safety requirements and limited onboard space, large bags are not permitted. Small personal bags, such as handbags, are allowed, but all bags are subject to search.

Are there any prohibited items?
Outside food and alcohol, illegal substances, cannabis/marijuana products, glitter, confetti, and any items deemed unsafe are not permitted onboard. Guests are expected to follow all vessel rules, and federal maritime law applies while onboard.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas approved by the vessel crew. Cannabis/marijuana products are not permitted onboard due to federal law.
Is the event 21+?
Yes. All guests must be 21 or older and present a valid government-issued ID for entry.
Can I leave and re-enter the event?
No. Once the yacht departs, it will not return to the dock until the end of the cruise, and re-entry is not possible. Please plan accordingly and be prepared to remain onboard for the full event.

Weather, Safety & Access
What happens if the weather is bad?
The event will take place rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe or prevent operation of the vessel. If any changes are required, updates will be communicated directly to ticket holders.
Is the event accessible?
This event takes place aboard a private yacht and may involve stairs, narrow walkways, and limited space for mobility devices. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance at team@aplacetolove.earth so we can discuss what may be possible.

Will photos or videos be taken?
Yes. Photography and video may be captured during the event. By attending, you consent to the use of your image or likeness for event documentation and promotional purposes.

Who is responsible for safety onboard?
The captain and vessel crew have full authority over the yacht and all safety-related decisions. Guests are expected to follow crew instructions at all times.
